Game Instructions:
Ultimate Frisbee-Divide students into two teams, standard U.F. Rules apply: https://www.usaultimate.org/rules/
Hot, Cold, Danger!-This game is played in pairs. Any number of pairs can play at once so long as the partners can hear each other over the sound of the other partners.
One person is blindfolded (stick on eye patches work too). They are responsible for achieving the objective. The other person can see, but they are quarantined to one area with the other seeing partners. The objective of the round is only revealed to the seeing partner and they are responsible for guiding their blinded partner towards the objective. However, the seeing partner can only communicate with three words: Hot, Cold, or Danger (and maybe their partner’s name). The “Danger” command means to immediately stop an action to avoid possible injury.
Possible objectives could be a simple obstacle course, find and put on an oversized T-shirt, etc.
Dance Lesson- We have a dance tutorial for “Who Else?” by Andy Mineo. Students are invited to dance from their seat (should be invited up if they are doing a good job) The student at the front who gets closest to the actual video wins the prize and gets to help out with Announcements.
Musical Chairs
In a circle, arrange chairs facing outward to total one fewer than the number of players. An additional player needs to be in charge of the music. When the music starts, the players walk around the chairs. When the music stops, players sit down in the nearest chair as soon as they can. The one player who does not have a chair is out. One of the chairs is then removed, and the game continues in this manner. The player that sits in the final chair is the winner.
