Leader Requirements:
Overview:
6th-8th Grade Students are invited to enjoy a night of fun and fellowship and are asked to bring friends. There will be games, Dodgeball, Video Games, Laser Tag, Movie, prizes, and a gospel presentation. Overnighters are high impact events that require extra Leaders to stay (awake) all-night, monitor students, run activities, and help with clean up.

Main Points:
There will be lots of Non-churched students who will be looking to you for Guidance and direction. They need a good representation of Christ. They need someone to remember their name and talk with them.  They may need you to help them pay attention.  They may need you to re-explain a game to them so that they can understand what’s going on.

Important thing to remember:
This is THEIR night. You are not there to hang out with each other. This is not something that you will naturally get excited about. But we need you to help make each activity fun. You must participate and not be too cool to run around. That puts a damper on everything else if they see older HS students sitting on the side of the room and laughing at them.
Middle School Students are going to be the coolest people on the planet.  This is their world, thus awkwardness, immaturity, screaming, laughing, is not only acceptable, it’s totally age appropriate and must not be looked down on. Principle I like to follow- REMEMBER.  It shouldn’t be that hard, you were just there a few years ago.  People can make fun of HS just as easily as MS just as easily as they can make fun of ADULTS.  There will be differences, but that’s OK.  The important thing to remember is that You’re there to serve and do ministry and they need you to do that.

Requirements
We need you to have a heart to serve and minister to the students.
Your communication should try to be a 9 to 1 ratio for students (90%) to adults (10%)
We need you to PLAY and have FUN
We need you to enforce rules and boundaries and be an adult presence.
You will manage select activities periodically, and make sure that everyone has a SAFE and fun environment
You need to communicate any Issues or Problems that Arise right away with Pastor Aaron.

Benefits:
It’s FREE
