Retreat Game Night Ideas

PK Retreat Games Timeline:

Dinner starts at 7pm then free play basketball till everyone’s done. Have everyone meet at "Ground Zero."

7:20- Divide students and leaders into 4 teams (colored bracelets) 10 min

Get to know your team. The team that finds the most things they have in common wins 100 pts. for their team right away.

7:30- Begin at ground zero -  (20 min) Each team sends a “champion” (a representative) for each event to compete with the other team’s champions.

- Trivia Competition (5 question warm up) 100 pts each correct answer

7:40- Grog Tag- Rules, Boundaries IF the Grogs win, they each win 500 pts for their team color.

8:45-  Ice Cream Break

8:50- ground zero

- Energy Drink Chug – winner gets 600 pts for their team. (can’t spill it)

- Blend weird food (first to drink) 900 pts for their team. Second place gets 400pts.

- Human Wheelbarrow –Champion picks a partner to wheelbarrow to the finish line. First place gets 1000 pts .Second place gets 700pts.

9:05- Clear the tables and chairs –everyone (10 min)

9:25- Play 4 team Dodgeball  (20 min) -Each Team stays in quadrants. Standard dodgeball rules apply. Jails will be in each team’s corner. 1 Jail break per game. Winning team gets 500 pts. (each game). Each Game is worth 1100 pts.

9:25- Water Break

9:30- ground zero 

9:45- Minute to Win it – (15-20 min) 4 teams send a champion to the center to compete against each other. It’s not just about completing in 1 minute, it’s also about beating the other team’s time. Each Game is worth 1400 pts.

9:50- Mummy Wars- (10 min.) Split the gym in half Side 1- (Guys vs Guys) Side 2 (Girls Vs Girls)

Each team has 1 minute to wrap one mummy in toilet paper while a fast song plays.

When they hear: “Wake me up inside!” on the song, everyone backs up and the mummies will start doing battle to tear the wrapping off the other mummies. They can do direct combat or try to avoid entanglements. If the wrapping falls they cannot fix it. Once the paper is gone, they are out. If there is more than one survivor at the end of the song (on each side), no one gets points. Wrapping must be on the outside of the clothing. Hidden Wrapping will result in disqualification. Winning Guy get 1500 pts for his team. Same with the Winning Girl.

10:00- Clean up – (5min) top three people with the most TP given to the leader get an extra 300pts for their team.

10:05- ground zero

This game is called “The First PURGE” – We’ll have a girl’s side and a guy’s side. Everyone gets a balloon, when the horn sounds there are no rules. When students get out, they return to their leader who will check them in to get an accurate count of who’s still alive in the building.

Last person with their original balloon wins 2500pts for their team.  If multiple people are still in the game, the points will be divided equally among their teams.

10:25- ground zero

Have everyone sit down while judges tabulate the point totals (5 min).

Tell them what’s coming up. We can open up the gym for either danny ball, dodgeball, or basketball. We will also have cookie decorating if you need to take a chill pill and relax a little bit. Also, after we declare the winning team, we will also give individuals the chance to earn a Coke by helping us pick up broken balloons. Top 12 each get a can. 

10:30- Gift Card prizes - $5 DB Cards -20

Final ½ hr is free time.
