THEME: CERTAIN OF ONE THING

Romans 8:37-39

37 Nevertheless, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come 39 nor height nor depth nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the charity of God, which is in Christ, Jesus our Lord.

This world needs students who understand who they are in Christ, and live out the great adventure He has in store for them. Our prayer is that you will see how important it is to grasp the love God has for you, and that you will make a decision to receive that love as a Christ follower, and pass that love on to a world that desperately needs it.

BEFORE camp, please pray for:

  • God to prepare YOUR heart and mind to receive and be changed.

Cell Phone Policy

We understand the large role of cell phones in the world today. students have increasing pressures in their everyday lives to be connected to the internet and social media. During this camp, we will be striving to foster an environment and community where students can be relieved of that pressure. During their time at camp, campers will interact face-to-face and “love the ones they are with.” Our policy is to ensure that our campers can disconnect, pick their heads up from their devices. Make eye contact, live in the moment, learn to connect with each other so they can grow. Therefore, cell phones are not recommended and campers are discouraged from bringing any cell phone or electric device that has access to WIFI, cell service, or is able to transfer data. Use will be limited to use specifically approved times and places. Students can leave the devices at home or turn them in to their counselor office upon arrival. The device will be stored securely until they finish their stay. We ask that no phones be used during our chapel services or any place outside of your cabin, unless approved by their counselor for a specific time. If a camper is found using a cell phone or device, the item will be immediately confiscated. These items will NOT be returned until the end of camp. There will be no exception to this policy.
