Summer Finale Timeline (includes water balloon games)

It’s here! Our Summer Finale.  Tonight, we will have some amazing balloon games, and spend some time reflecting on the summer and back to school thoughts.

7:00pm –Students meet at front office entrance of the church.

7:05pm –Water Balloon Toss – Everett & Alissa 

Students pick a partner and do a traditional egg toss with a water balloon. After each successful throw, one person takes a step back. If their balloon breaks they are out. 

7:10pm – Air Balloon Keep Away- P.A. & Andy 

Students form circles of 5-10 and one of them stands in the middle. To begin, one person begins tossing or handing the balloon around the circle and if it is taken, pops, or is thrown uncatchably and is taken or popped, then the person who touched it last goes to the middle and they get a new balloon.

7:25pm – Water Balloon Stomp – Emma & Austin SC

1 water balloon is tied to each leg of the contestants (near the shoe treds). They will attempt to try to stomp the other contestant’s balloons until one winner remains. (speed round balloon pick up) Prize for person who brings back the most)

7:45pm – Air Balloon Partner Pop - Everett & Alissa

Bring 4 contestants up to the front. 2 guys 2 girls. They will try to pop a balloon by pressing it against each other (guy team, girl team). The first team to pop it, gets to have snack first!

7:50pm – Snack and Small Groups -Leaders

8:05pm – Balloon Survivor Game (Also called The Purge) – P.A. & Noelle

Students will seek to survive the time (20 min.) with their air balloon unpopped. Students will blow up each other's balloon, so that they are all FULL. Leaders can play and should be aware of gameplay situations so that they can help judge as needed. Balloons can be popped by others, but contestants need to stay within the boundaries. Boundaries will need to shrink as the game progresses (use cones toward the end).

8:25pm- Clean up

8:30pm- head back to front office entrance for parent pick up.
